In these days when the number of our animal friends living on our streets is constantly increasing and we are no longer able to help them or provide the necessary healthy living spaces, our best and only solution is to neuter them to prevent further reproduction. Sterilization services provided in the stray animal protection and rehabilitation centers of our country's municipalities are free of charge. Therefore, if you want to help our dear friends, you need to call our center at 0530 693 7933 and make an appointment to have your dear friend sterilized. If your best friend is a cat, you should call our center on 0530 693 7933 on Monday at 8:00 in the morning and make an appointment. Since a certain number of cats can be neutered at our center every week, an appointment can currently be made for only one cat per person.

Melody DonaThe cat to be neutered must be hungry at least 6 hours before the surgery time, so that the anesthetized cat does not experience vomiting, which could pose a danger to the cat when it wakes up. Generally, the cat must be brought to our center at 9:00 on the morning of the appointment day. When you come to the center, you must first register by giving your name and phone number to the officer at the entrance. After the given label is attached to the cat's box, you take your cat with its cage to the Operating Room building.

Generally, cats that have undergone surgery can be picked up from our center starting from 13:30 in the afternoon. When you receive the cat you brought after the surgery, you need to observe whether the cat experiences any vomiting while keeping it closed in the cage, as it will take 6 hours for the cat to fully recover from anesthesia. Even if the cat wakes up within at least 6 hours, it should not drink or eat. You can drink water after 6 hours, but we recommend not eating for at least 12 hours.
It is necessary to keep female stray cats under control at home or in a closed environment for at least 3 days to check whether the surgical stitches have healed or whether there are any complications.
After the male cat fully recovers from anesthesia after the surgery, if he lives in a quiet area with not much traffic, he can return to his normal living space on the street. Otherwise, if the street with heavy traffic is his living space due to the one-day lack of reaction that the anesthesia he has received will cause him, it is necessary for his safety to keep him under your control for a day.
