Kittens are offered for adoption to us with a valid vaccination. Because kittens need a second vaccination at 3 months of age to be fully protected, your kitten may still be too young for this second vaccination when adopted. You must then have this vaccination administered by your own veterinarian at your own expense. Kittens/cats up to 6 months: These are still too young to be neutered. We attach great importance to sterilization. For this reason, this animal can be neutered free of charge by our veterinarian at our center in Didim. If you decide to have your adopted cat neutered at your own veterinarian, these expenses are yours.
We are always very pleased if your newly adopted stray animal has any medical problems or even if you want to let us know your happy news, which is not an obligation of course. If you encounter medical problems, have questions or are in doubt about something: please do not hesitate to contact us! We can be reached at 0 (530) 693 79 33 during working hours and at 153 in emergencies.
Properly caring for an animal costs money. Before being adopted, animals are medically treated, vaccinated, medicated for internal and external parasites, and chipped. The adopted animal is sterilized at our center's expense. You can learn the current transfer amount we request per adopted animal from our center's secretary.
The found animals remain in our “safety” for 14 days. This is a legal period that gives the owner 2 weeks to search for the animal and report it. After these 14 days, the animal can be legally adopted. As soon as the (medical) treatments are completed, the animal will appear on the adoption page of this website. You can apply from then on.
If you are interested in one of our animals at our center, we ask that you fill out a (non-binding) adoption form before your visit. You will find the "Preliminary Application Form for Adopting Stray Animals" under 'FORMS' in the 'Central Information' section of the website.
We will contact you as soon as possible after submitting this form.
